Waikoloa Community Church is an interdenominational church and part of the main stream of historic Christianity. We endeavor to be inclusive of all those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation and who embrace the Christian Faith as it has been faithfully transmitted for more than 2000 years! At the same time, our church welcomes all who seek to learn more about Jesus to worship and grow with us as well. Our promise to you is that Waikoloa Community Church is a very safe place to hear a potentially dangerous and life-changing message! Our motto, “Because He Cares,” is inspired by this wonderful promise from 1 Peter 5:7 about God’s personal love and concern for you.

Cast all your anxiety on Him Because He Cares for you. ~ 1 Peter 5:7

Our Mission

Waikoloa Community Church exists to introduce people to Jesus, inspiring and encouraging them to become His fully devoted followers. We exist to create environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God, experience authentic community and to foster a positive influence with those both inside and outside the church wall.

Our Beliefs

  • ABOUT GOD: God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
  • ABOUT JESUS CHRIST: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings.
  • ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT: The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives spiritual gifts to believers so that they can serve God, and each other, more effectively. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily.
  • ABOUT THE BIBLE: The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.
  • THE APOSTLES CREED
 I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit;
Born of the Virgin Mary;
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
Was crucified, dead and buried;
The third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven;
And now sits on the right hand Of God the Father Almighty;
From there He shall come To judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit;
The Holy Christian Church;
The Communion of Saints;
The Forgiveness of Sins;
The Resurrection of the Body;
And the Life Everlasting.
Amen.

It is the vision of challenging and equipping people to become all that God created and called them to be. It is the vision of equipping every member for a significant ministry by helping them discover their unique set of gifts, passions, abilities, personality and life experiences (S.H.A.P.E.) all designed into them by God.

Waikoloa Community Church has the vision of developing people to spiritual maturity by hosting worship experiences, festivals, seminars, Bible Studies, conferences and retreats for pastors and lay leaders on spiritual growth, church leadership, congregational development and how to more effectively bring Christ into the workplace. It is the vision of owning our ministry property, debt free, with the ability to expand and enhance the facilities to better serve our ministry and missional goals to our community. It is the vision of attracting families, couples and singles of all generations to a unified, growing and thriving community of faith that serves as a “beacon on a hill” to all the surrounding communities.
