COVID-19 RESPONSE

May 30th, 2020 COVID-19 IMPACT UPDATE

For Community Groups who have historically used our Facilities – An Update Letter PDF We Sent Out Can be Found Here

For Church Members and Attendees – An Update Letter PDF We Sent Out Can Be Found Here

1) WORSHIP SERVICES
The Church Council will meet on Monday, June 8th, to make final decisions about the resuming of physical worship on the property sometime this summer. When we do resume onsite worship, at first, it will be an “outdoor/no-touch” worship experience, held in the parking lot. BYOC – Bring your own chair, masks and 6 foot distancing will be required.

We have considerable planning that still needs to occur, including firm commitments from many volunteers. We will notify the congregation two weeks prior to resuming onsite worship gatherings with policies and expectations. You can read more in The Letter PDF We Sent Out In Our Newsletter (NOTE: This is the same link as the one at the top of the page.)

We will continue to broadcast live or recorded worship experiences on Facebook, YouTube and our Church Website even when physical gatherings resume. That way, if you are ill, worried you may be ill, or do not feel safe in attending in person, you will still be able to participate.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT TO WATCH LIVE ON FACEBOOK

2) ALOHA ROOM, AGAPE ROOM, FELLOWSHIP HALL USE:
Like the Sanctuary, the rest of the church property remains closed for any gathering purpose until further notice. Detailed reasons and more info can be found by reading This Update Letter We Sent To Community Groups
(NOTE: This is the same link as the one at the top of the page.)

3) PRAYER CONCERNS:
Please remember we have a prayer chain. If you are not on it and would like to be on it, send Annette an e-mail at WaikoloaCC@gmail.com and ask to be added to “The Prayer Chain Group.”  Then you can be part of our ongoing prayer support for many who are in need. This is a different Google E-mail group than the standard News Group where you are receiving this e-mail. If you know of someone who is struggling, who needs prayer, physical or emotional support, please let the pastor know.

4) OFFICE HOURS:
Greg and Annette are maintaining normal office hours to address any needs that arise and to continue to administrate our various ministries. The doors are locked and their car is not visible but they are in the office a large section of each day and can for sure be reached between 9am-1pm Monday – Thursday. The office phone number is 808-883-8944 and the e-mail is waikoloacc@gmail.com

God bless all of you. We pray that all of you are well. Please let us know if you are in need. If it is within our power to help you, we will. We know some are having a very difficult time with this, feeling isolated, alone and scared. We are here for you! We are only a phone call, text or e-mail away.

Pastor Greg, President Knut Hovde and The Waikoloa Community Church Council
